about

Mord Records’ Endlec joins PØLI and Lorenzo Raganzini’s HEX Recordings with a hard hitting Techno release, entitled ‘Under Brutal Law’.

Since 2014 Greek artist Endlec has quickly become one of the mainstays within the sonic field of industrially raw, driving Techno with previous releases on Analogue, KR/LF Records and Bas Mooy’s label Mord. Having performed at the likes of Tresor and REX Club, along with taking influences from early 90s European Techno and Detroit’s pioneers, Endlec now lands his next release on Barcelona based imprint HEX Recordings showcasing his fierce, tough Techno sound.

’Use For Punishment’ opens with spacey stabs, echoing chimes, driving kicks and crunchy snares until ‘Class Of 89’’ doubles up the percussion for a dark throbbing effect along with rushing rides, descending synths and rhythmic vocal hits. ‘Concrete Destroyer’ then thunders with a moody sound floor, cutting hihats and firing risers before ‘Rage Taster’ and ‘Who Ya Gonna Kill?’ close proceedings with rattling, syncopated cymbals, haunting voices, thumping bass and electronically charging energy.
